The North Richland Hills Police Department now offers a Lateral Entry Officer with Certification Program. These officers start at a lateral pay commensurate with their experience. Lateral entry officers must complete the department's abbreviated Field Training Program.
After completion of FTO training, these officers are eligible to work in an off-duty capacity.
